4th and final TPM in Vienna - "Common Good" project completion

On September 6, the Common Good consortium met for the last time to review the past project phase and reflect on the results achieved. In an intensive exchange, the progress, challenges and successes of the project were discussed, while the focus was on promoting social cohesion and strengthening the common good. The partners emphasized how important the shared insights are for future projects aimed at connecting and supporting our society even more.

As we conclude our Common Good project, we are pleased to share our successes and visions for the future. In the face of social divisions, we do not want to stand idly by and do nothing, but actively contribute to bringing society closer together again. Together with NGOs from Austria and Italy, we investigated how civil society can strengthen social cohesion, protect democratic values and promote emotional well-being in communities.

The project produced several impressive results:

  • Survey: we asked residents in three countries what makes a good neighborhood. We summarized their findings in a comprehensive report.

  • Guide: Our guide supports the organization of community events that promote togetherness - from large festivals to smaller gatherings.

  • E-book: Our e-book defines the “common good”, contains inspiring practical examples, recommendations for NGOs and interactive e-learning units. It is available free of charge in three languages: English, German and Italian.

What now?

Our conversations and project work have highlighted the importance of the common good. If we strengthen cohesion in our neighborhoods, we can better deal with challenges together. Motivated by our success so far, we are already planning a larger project to achieve even more.

Stay tuned for news on our next steps and a big thank you to everyone who has accompanied us on this journey!
