About the Project:

Introducing Language Buddy: a ground-breaking initiative designed to improve language learning for young students (12-17 years old) from refugee or migrant backgrounds. By pairing them with enthusiastic university students, we are creating a dynamic buddy system that fosters language growth, cultural understanding and lasting friendships.

Through this innovative approach, university students become mentors, providing invaluable support and guidance to their younger peers. Together, they embark on a journey of language discovery in a safe, welcoming environment that values diversity.

But that's not all we do. Through workshops and online resources, we're developing the Language Buddy Model into a nationwide sensation. From identifying best practice to influencing policy recommendations, we're committed to making language learning accessible and fun for all.
